i first met aileen & sean at starbucks, one of my favorite meeting places. they were so genuine and sweet, i could immediately tell they complimented each other well. the whole day was filled with such amazing people, made for an outstanding day, even though we had a little rain. when it came to picture time, the rain cleared, the girls put on the boots, and out we went! aileen & sean put together a beautiful wedding, and i LOVE the bridesmaids dresses, so flattering on every girl. AMAZING. thank you guys for letting me be apart of your big day!

lauren & tony

oooh man am i excited for these two!! i met lauren in photography school back in 2003, and we were friends ever since. we both graduated, she moved home to quincy, illinois and i moved back home to cincinnati. LUCKY FOR ME (and her) she met tony, who brought us back together!! after two or three years, of not seeing lauren, i meet tony! he was moving to cincy, knowing no one... so we welcomed him with open arms. after a long drive from wisconsin, i made him stay out till 4 am to explore all that cincinnati had to offer! (pretty much bars & skyline chili) *i'm sorry i made you stay up and out all night*

tony was of course awesome, and i couldn't wait until lauren moved down to tell her all about it! they had a long distance relationship up until cincinnati, and i was the one who got to watch their love grow.... cheesy i know, but so true! ...moving on 1.5 years and tony tells all of my friends he is going to propose to lauren... HELLOOO! i guess tony knew not to tell me... luckily my friends can't keep secrets so about two weeks later i find out, and good thing because EVERY phone call from lauren, i got a little excited and would scream before answering "LAUREN'S ENGAGED!!" i think i did that for two months.... now they are officially engaged, happy and getting married in july!! i'm packin' my bags, headed to quincy, and enjoying this wedding as a guest. thank you kids for being my friend.

cincinnati reds opening day

every city has something they look forward to, cincinnati has many, but opening day is right on top of the list! i am lucky to say, after living in cincinnati my whole life, i finally get to be a part of all the opening day hoopla. i will admit, i really don't know anything about baseball, but you can't deny, going to a game is amazing. ice cream in a helmet, businessman's specials, bobble heads, fireworks, "i got what you want, i got what you need" guy, gary who works the hot dogs, the wave, and even the sweet jam's that play when the boys go up to bat are some of many things that get me excited for baseball season. everyone looks forward to the warm weather, and all the activities that come along with it. opening day is basically the start of it all. oh and of course, all those boys in tight pants and cute butts!

welcome grant & james to the world!! i love babies, and these guys had me talkin' for weeks! how cute are they? it is so funny to see twins, when we tried to get them together, they would just punch each other in the face. 9 months that close, i guess would make you want to punch too? mom says they looking nothing alike, what do you think?

this all started with a phone call saying, "i have a friend, he's trying to do a fashion show, he needs some photos." so, meet justin, a soccer playing auditor who is willing to help out a friend, and rock a runway or two on the side. we met downtown and started to wonder the streets. justin was amazing in front of the camera, and overall a great guy. so if you see justin on your next bridal fashion show, remember this amazing debut :)

oh i have been teasing you for awhile now with this wedding. finally, i started off my 2010 weddings with kristen & mike. it was a great day of people, beauty and snow. they were such a cute and fun couple, ready to make the best of their day and lives. kristin loves photography, so of course she was so natural in front of the camera. thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

these two know how to throw a great wedding! having a new years eve wedding was just in the cards for this crew. everything was in wilmington, oh where tara's family owns a cute little hotel called the general denver. across the street is murphy theater where their gorgeous ceremony was held, followed by a little lunch reception. *side note: this was the first time i had chocolate covered oranges... AMAZING!* anyway, the entire day was amazing, beautiful and full of life. a great way to end my 2009.
*i recommend all brides have a meal like this*
